How to Apply
Applications for a Hart County Habitat for Humanity house are accepted at any time. Application forms may be requested from any Hart County Habitat Board of Directors member or by email at information@harthabitat.org.
Application forms can be downloaded from this website. Click on the links below to download and print the 5-page document. Be sure to complete all five pages of the application and submit to the address below. Hart County Habitat may not be in a position to select a family if in the early stages of construction or if not in an active solicitation period; however, the application will be reviewed.
Applicants will be contacted by a member of the Family Selection Committee to make an appointment for a personal interview. At that time credit reports from all three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, and Transunion) will be requested. Applicants must sign a form stating that they understand that applications will not be considered without credit reports.
In the meantime, all applicants are welcome and encouraged to volunteer on the current build to help them understand the process and to help build required "sweat equity" hours.
